Larkin Beagles

Larkin Beagles is committed to the breeding of healthy and beautiful Beagles.   We are a Supporting Member of the National Beagle Club of America, and have been actively involved in support of the development of a test for the DNA marker for Musladin-Lueke Syndrome.  

Puppies

We breed rarely and screen buyers carefully, for the protection and welfare of both buyer and puppy.   We require that pets be spayed/neutered when old enough.  We require a fenced yard with very rare exceptions, and require that puppies which cannot be kept for ANY reason come back to us unless we approve a rehoming plan.   We ask prospective buyers LOTS of questions, and are happy to answer their questions for the life of their dog.

More Information

Peggy Berger obtained her first Beagle in 1974 and has been active in dogs on and off for 35 years.     We got seriously back into show Beagles in 2001 and since then have finished the titles of 5 Beagles including two homebreds.   We have several lovely youngsters coming up, and are excited to be partnering in breeding and exhibiting with Susan and Roy Phares of Mar-Lee Beagles.   We are also grateful to Dana Cline for his support and mentoring.
